U.S. Senate phone lines overwhelmed so keep calling to protest health care bill

Harry Reid is trying to pull a Pelosi and jam the nationalized health care bill through before Christmas! Is it any wonder Americans by the thousands (millions?) are contacting their representatives?

Virginia Politics blog reports the U.S. Senate phones were so overwhelmed with calls over the weekend that lines were crossed and calls sent to the wrong senators:
If you tried to call Sen. Jim Webb’s office on the weekend the U.S. Senate voted to debate health-care legislation on the floor, and you got bumped to another senator’s voicemail, don’t take it personally.

Apparently, the Senate phone system was inundated with calls and lines were crossed.
One reader told us that he tried to call Webb’s office and was kicked into Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson’s voicemail. And it probably wasn’t just Webb’s office that experienced problems because staff there received calls meant for other senators, said Webb spokeswoman Jessica Smith.

The phone-system stress is likely to continue—debate over the legislation started today.
Please call Virginia's U.S. senators and ask them to vote "no" on socialized ... er ... nationalized health care:
