Snow-covered Valley....

"Albert," our snow-flocked spruce tree.

The neighbors' snowman, a little melted, greeted us.

As soon as we topped Afton Mountain on I-64, everything was white. This rural road taking us home was clear but there was snow everywhere. A neighbor said we had 7-8" of snow in our area west of Staunton ... glad some of it waited for us to return home from Williamsburg.

I thought about you and was sorry that you weren't here for the snow. So glad it lasted.
