Fairfax County GOP Chairman Anthony Bedell celebrated his birthday at last Saturday's Republican Advance in Williamsburg ... and the GOP gave him a birthday present for his hard work in bringing in blue Fairfax County for Bob McDonnell. Anthony worked long hours to achieve the turnaround and he was recognized by RPV with Best Unit.
Today Too Conservative is reporting Anthony may not run for reelection as chair. Long hours will burn out the most ardent volunteer, and apparently there has been the usual sniping and backbiting from within his own troops who fail to see the larger overall picture. It happens in the Republican ranks ... the Democrats deal with it ... every group has the naysayers.
Congratulations to Anthony for the wins and for his well-earned recognition at the Advance. Together ... we WILL make a difference!
